A reminder about humanity...

I must believe the people in general are good, but we somewhere along the road forget how to show that we care. How does that happen? I still buy those papers. I may not give spare change but I try to buy the paper or the folks selling poems. They are my favorite, my daughter loves them to, there uniqueness of creating word on the spot to anything is so worth my 5 bucks and time. They make me smile.
How often do you walk down a city street and smile and say hello to someone? Eye contact, it is an amazing thing, but a smile is even more. Take the time, the returns are so worth it.

Thanks E! But you're right, taking a little time can mean so much to someone else. I personally love the poems and often they are amazingly good. I've kept a few of them even, and I am horribly picky about what poetry I like.
