Faith
1. Confident belief in the truth, value, or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing.
2. Belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence.
3. Loyalty to a person or thing; allegiance: keeping faith with one's supporters.
4. often Faith Christianity. The theological virtue defined as secure belief in God and a trusting acceptance of God's will.
5. The body of dogma of a religion: the Muslim faith.
6. A set of principles or beliefs.
Interesting beast it is. We all should have some though. We all need it, it differs on where we put it or in whom we put it, but in the end we all live with it.
Seems lately I have been getting hit up on the religion aspect of things, something I truly do not believe in. But I think it is important for every one to realize where and in what they have faith in.
In my world life is what we make of it and how we use that knowledge, strength and ability to get by in life. How we make decisions changes that from day to day.
Faith for me is definitely defined as both one and six but I realize others find peace in much more than that. Remember to respect others Faith as it is and essential part of us as beings.
Faith helps guide our choices and decisions, use it wisely and it can bring you closer to truth.
But Faith in others is just as important as faith in ones self. We are not those islands as much as we would like to be and I am not sure if truth or true happiness can be found there. So that Faith in others is and important mix into things. Give others that and be amazed at what that will bring in return. Friendship and respect are huge facets in life and Faith can help bring those about. See others as they are and treat them as they should be treated and in the end you will know you have done your best. Nothing more can be asked.
Enjoy life, see all the incredible things that are out there.

Oooh. Plato's Cave -- that's one of my all time favorites.
And yes, faith is a fine thing -- but I highly prefer a well considered faith to a blind one, any day of the week.
We really gotta have our talk...

I agree with you about 1 and 6. But I think I get all caught up in 3 without even realizing it.
