Long day coming up.

Every day seems long but tack on a 4 hour meeting at the end and it will seem a lot longer.

Still one must hold out hope for all the fun may be right around the corner.

Tonight will be the night I de-volunteer myself from a group I have been leading for 3 years. A group I got volunteered for in the first place and still have no idea how it all happened. But the end is near. October does not seem that far away at this point. So light is bright in this tunnel. I never did get everything I want accomplished but I fear that me be the usual in this type of situation.

What this whole experience taught me is I will never own or run my own business. Way too much involved. Lots of headaches around each surprising corner. Licensing, codes, rules, lawyers, bookkeepers, staff and budgets then with the small disasters along the way and trying to get all the board members to agree upon changes and it all adds up to less then fun. So really October is not that far away.

Life does not really have a lot of extra room right now for me to worry about all the particulars of my own life let alone one of a cooperative with a staff of 35 and 100 kids and all there families. Going through balance sheets was not my favorite thing in school and I can clearly say it is still not my favorite thing. And writing reports really has never been fun and that certainly has not changed. October.

So I can view this long day as a step in the right direction.
