Update on the day...
In the middle, so some is left. Hoping for a better half. Volunteering is a good thing, but it takes some coordination and common sense. One feels bad when that all lands one person each and everytime. Directions sucked, Whoops no beverages, Darn forgot the plates and it continued.
Why with a group of over 100 who showed up expectations of perfection was needed. When in the end the committee has been begging for help for over 3 months. But no one has time for that, but they sure as hell can show up for an event and then be pissy and whiny and expect is all right. The team who was suppose to set up (5 members) only 1 appeared. Once again, responsibility is an important factor, perhaps volunteering is that volunteer but should there not be some type of follow through expected from that?
Grumpy and now off to the next event, hoping to merge in and be unnoticed in the crowd.
