November Winds

Perhaps we should add December to that. The creaking of the trees is such a cool sound with that splendid heavy rain whipping around. But when one takes the time to truly think about the ramifications it really is not that cool. I love my tall pine trees and I can only hope they continue to love the ground and not my house.

They say hurricane force winds Thursday and Friday; well shit we are not Florida. Our city won’t do well with that kind of weather.

For two days I have drove to work through various mazes of areas with power outages do to downed trees. I can only assume the worse is yet to come. Hoping for the best.
