Memories...

The what ifs? Long ago memories, the good, the not so good and all the in between. We keep them for reasons only we can know. Each one is separate and unique. They fade sometimes whether we want them to or not. However one must remember each one marked us indelibly. We are forever changed by them. Our life is effected by moments that is what one should remember. To go back and think what if? Does one no good it is not to be and more to the point it was never meant to be.

We have a wonderfully unique ability to give bits and fragments of ourselves. Sometimes those bits are trounced on, sometimes they are loved and endured for a lifetime, sometimes those bits are lost forever when one goes away. But never forget that we as humans have the tremendous ability in our hearts to grow, stretch and learn and we need to hand those bits out as carefully as possible for our own continued growth. To hold them all in is to shut down and life will stop.

The thing to remember is as we are handing all those bits out, our mind and hearts are receiving so many more. With all the same rules holding true, the good, not so good and the in between. How and what we do with all these bits forms our complete snapshot of that moment. Life is trying for equality...a process in which we give and take throughout time. We make it what we want or we at least should never stop trying to make it what we want. Sometimes we take more than we give, the moment requires that. Others require the opposite, we must give more then we receive, it is just as important if not more so, giving is learning. See the difference you can make, regardless if it is a person, place, or thing. Knowledge, growth and movement depend on the ability of both pieces. Time and situations change and the amounts handed and received vary but Truth is found in small amounts along the way.

Live, look back and remember, however don't forget the memories of tomorrow are being created today. Enjoy.

Peace
