Another morning of birds

There songs are more insistent letting us all know that spring is here. Oddly enough this one seems to be arriving without the daily dose of water falling from the sky...a very missed feature. To feel the dampness all around or to walk out onto the deck and smell the damp moss and evergreens which surround us is an experience onto itself.

Lost seems to be the gray and drizzle of the early morning light, one must visit the ocean soon. They say days upon days of sun lies ahead. Such and odd feature, not one I look forward to. It be hard enough in July and August when those few weeks in a row occur, but to say no rain in March seems uncalled for.

Another day of perfection which does not exist anywhere. So how can it portray itself here? Life is meant to have the puddles they are fun to splash in. To walk with the water falling all around you as the light drizzle soaks your being. The feel of the drops falling onto the foliage all about and the smell of the rain cleansing and soothing the world around you is not to be missed. To sit on a porch or curb and feel it at times fall in its unique pattern, listen to the sounds it creates hitting the plants and buildings.

The sound of cars moving through the dampened streets pushing puddles around as they slosh by quickly. Or the distinct sound of nothing other than nature creating beauty as it does its best to clean up all around oneself. The textures, the smells and the sounds...it all be missed. Come back soon.

Until then a sunny Saturday morning greets us to another day. Where to go from here? See the light and do the best with it. Find the momentum one needs to move through the place and time. Never fear another will arrive shortly thereafter. The time be right to enjoy the bulbs that will fade so quickly without the dampness they are use to or to enjoy the blossoming trees with all there flowers and sprouts see the suns power to bring life to the surface so quickly. One will hope the rain comes soon after to sustain such beauty past its short lived early arrival.

Find a path and let it be, but enjoy what is, it wont be the same tomorrow.

Peace.
