Morning Fog
Dense and very cold fog overlays everything this morning. Darkness of the morning is cut open by all the holiday lights of the neighbors. Lots of reindeer in front yards this year. Brightly shining past all the darkness reflecting off all the fog rolling by.
The quiet morning will soon roll into daylight and commotion. The daily routine once again will take over so many lives. As we all head off to work like cows in a pasture, finding our tree to stand by all day.
The middle of the week signifying nothing. Yet another day with choices and decisions to be made. What new can come from today? Never deny the ideal that it can all change in a moment. Today could be that day.

Bah. Don't even talk to me about reindeer in front yards.
I liked that heading off to work like cows in a pasture line. Very nice.
lol.
The cow thing just seems fitting to me. Like the barn door opens we all trod to our respective spots and as daylight fades we head back to the trusty barn.
