The return...

of the comfortable gray drizzly skies of Seattle. It all feels right. Sometimes I truly enjoy the monotony breaker of the sun, but I am always pleased for my drizzle to return. I know what is to be expected then.

The sun makes me feel like I should be more productive and positive even when one feels accomplishments have been made. Hence the rain allows one to accomplish what is needed and feel good about it. Sun for me is never enough. Whether it is time, space or energy, all represents inadequate. But no expectations seem to loom within my mind during the gray drizzly days. What gets done is splendid and what doesn't one accepts tomorrow will be here soon enough.

Odd, as of late I crave the sunshine. Just to feel the warmth. Wanting and needing that energy and positive vibes it releases. The last two days were splendid. However this morning brought back the rain and a sense of comfort struck me. The gray has covered the sun and the drizzle is completing the day.

Another day will be seen through and perhaps that sun with its extra need and energy will come again soon. Leaving behind that sense that it was enjoyed and that it may even be missed from time to time.
