Early walk...

through the rain! Awoke around four to the sound of water...I quickly got up and got sweatpants and a t-shirt on...grabbed my sandals and headed for the door.

The sound is what I missed most...but amazingly enough the scent of the water hitting all that dry dirt and those leaves is amazing. The rain started off slowly and built as I walked through it in the silence of the morning.

The feel of water falling upon me was wonderful. The coldness biting into me as the chill covered me from the slight breeze as water cascaded down. Water everywhere as rain was in full throttle by the time I returned to watch it from my porch. Small paths flowing down the street. Enjoying the incredible sounds of water landing on trees and hard packed dirt. Where have you been...Welcome Home.

The day starts like none other it seems in months. Peaceful and refreshed. A new path has been created as the water continues to fall in the darkness. The sun unable to break free the last two days. Scheduled for return in full force by Friday...but today is for Rain. Let is be all day.

Today's movements will be clean steps into the unknown. Feeling distant from all that surrounds me. Wanting and hoping nothing, trying to accept what is. Seeing my day of rain and enjoying each of the moments of it. Who knows when it will return, fact though it will. As in life all things change. Some good and some not, one will continue to move along and accept what exists. Hoping for more. As I type this daylight breaks through the darkness and the rain slips away. Leaving the ground saturated and my memories full. Return soon please.
