What Happened to day two?

Flew by. Saw lots of the local places. Had lunch at a nifty deli where half a cow was served on my plate. Shopped at a cool all year around Christmas joint where somehow I spent more money then Okie or her mother in fact I spent more then them combined.

That truly means I am on vacation. A couple strange things occurred on "day two"...we realized or I should say I realized that it is not easy to find "tourist crap" in this city. In my hometown it be everywhere. Here not so much...we lowered ourselves to even search Wal-Mart and still came up empty handed. Looking for a shirt in a child size that does not include a football team seems to be quiet the challenge. One that I am not giving up on.

Also learned that a bartender of sorts can destroy Pina Coloda’s. Ate dinner at a nifty "Tex-Mex" place that had a cheese sauce and salsa on the table and some FLAWLESS homemade tortillas fresh at our table. Made some good enchiladas as well. They made things with spice enough to be eaten by Okie and me; hence some good and some burn the shit out of your sinus cavity.

All in all day two was a winner.

Day Three lies ahead with fun to be had. Mat Tots and more shopping. Also more local flavor to be had.

One side note of yesterday...Okie had me help her pick out some new specs, hence she is getting some I don't think she would have considered...*grin*. I think they are grand.

More to come.

Peace.
