Weekend approaches slowly

Another long weekend moves closer to reality. The New Year lies just beyond it. What does a new year entail? So much and yet nothing. Mentally we all work ourselves into some type of ideal that gives us momentum for new lofty goals in a new year. Wonder what happens to them throughout?

For me 2006 is a new year and in it change is bound to occur. The months of November and December had more change than the whole year combined. Hence what lies within 2006 can only be more that continues on the road of life.

Each day is a new. Seek the knowledge in each of those. See past the bullshit and baggage that we carry to blind ourselves with, roll down the window and feel the wind on your face. It's all-new and it's all up to each of us to create what we want.

Good luck and may we all find Peace soon.

I like New Year's because I get to make tacos and enchiladas. I could do without my brother turning up the volume on the football game. I've fantasized many times about breaking the television set.

Other than that, the new year signals that I'll have to think harder about writing the date on my checks. Another year, another year older. Blech.
