Happiness

Can others make us happy or do we make ourselves happy by listening carefully?

When we say others make us happy...doesn't that imply we don't control our emotions? I think we are letting others to touch us inside to feel that comfort of joy and that smile that spreads across our face. But it is us who lets that happen.

Happiness is a good thing. Smiling, laughter are all positive emotions. Others make us only as happy as we allow them to. So next time you say that someone makes you happy, think carefully as to what that means. You have made yourself happy.

You have made good decisions and choices to whom you have surround yourself with. Pat yourself on your back and continue your path knowing you have done well.

But most of all continue, cause you are doing something so right and totally fun.

Smile and let the day be splendid. Peace.

Too true. If you're bound and determined to be a negative grump, nobody is gonna be able to turn that frown upside down.

Oh and here's another one that would be good for a ramble. *g*

I've had this conversation recently with someone too, maybe just from the other perspective though lol.

I had to point out that my happiness or lack of of it is my responsability and even though it's deeply loving and touching for someone to be worried about fulfilling my needs, ultimatly the buck stopped with me.

ok,while I concur with the general premise of what the others are saying, it's human nature to be affected by others' moods...so technically, yes, you can be made happy or otherwise by others :)
