One day...

and counting. Oddly enough not going anywhere but hoping to change the view.

One-step forward two steps back. Wonder how you can reverse that? How long can one hold inside the anger the keeps it all together? Does it dissipate or explode? Maybe it will turn into more darkness. Defeated, let it all go, work on just ones self...where is the end? How much has to be taken away before figuring out enough? Where is that fucking end? When I stop fighting it? Or when the darkness fills all the light and the empty coldness wins? When I no longer care?

Lost.

Peace.

You don't have control over anyone's actions but your own. As a result, you need to be worrying about your own motivations and not others. Anger keeps you rooted in an outdated paradigm. It's time to move past that and accept that your anger is holding you back and that by hanging on to it you're allowing someone else to control your future.

Easy to say from an outside view.

Anger...seems to once again be my downfall.

Sadly it was and has been my strength of survival. To realize it must be changed is more than one can even begin to try at this point.

It is easier to give up.

Yeah, well, that's what you have me here for...the outside view. Unfortunately you don't want to listen to me on this.

I listen. I am not the only one who is stubborn...that does not mean I don't listen.

Change is seen to be easier from different views.

You're both right! You can't hold the anger in because that's not the answer either. It will eventually come out. But you can't keep expressing all your anger either. Pick your battles. Sometimes skillfully expressing your anger is called for. But don't let the anger control you. Once again Pick your battles and find a way to let the smaller things go. Start small and practice. Change doesn't happen overnight. Sometimes anger is the appropriate response. But not often. Once again. Learn to pick your battles!
