Thursday Rain

Another grand day of rain. Some may not like the continuous gray rainy days of winter in Seattle but then they should consider living in a different city. These are my favorite. Heavy gray rainy clouds with a nifty drizzle covering everything. I could skip on the wind, but in the end that usually accompanies these months so no complaints.

Winter in Seattle is for the hardy. Not actually super cold or snowy just a lot dark rainy days. Perfect weather. The city feels washed and cleaned daily. One difference from many cities in the rain would be the lack of umbrellas. One can walk down a street at lunch in the pouring rain and others will pass us by and one may never spot an umbrella. Locals. However one glimpse of the sun breaking through the clouds and 99.9% of the people will have dark sunglasses on. Makes me smile.

Another workday, but from a short week, hence my inner schedule is all messed up. Doesn't really matter anymore only effects my daily routine. These holiday weeks are behind us and that is a good thing. Work at least keeps one busy whether alone or not.

More to accomplish all the time. Moving forward and learning new ways to live.
