Reality wins.

Life rolls on and our path gets created with our without our acceptance of it. Sometimes we stand and watch it like a train continuing past us down a track not wanting to follow, however we have limited choices but to follow. Even while we stand and watch it go by we are making a choice. Perhaps the trick is to learn how to grab the handle and hang on while it seems to magically float by headed for uncharted territory.

Reality takes us with it. We must learn how to accept that and move comfortably within it. That can be the trick. Acceptance is a hard thing and sometimes it can take longer than one may feel it should. We cannot change everything we would like but we can accept what appears before us. Not that we should give up on trying to improve or make it more closely to what we assume, but at times letting the reality of the situation take us where we need to be may be best. Acceptance of something one cannot stop is a choice we can reach for. Where it leads us to is a different path someplace one may have to learn how to traverse across it carefully but securing our footing may allow us to move forward once again.

Reality will win each and every time and it is up to each individual to make something from that. We can only do our best and once one has done that then one can move finding something else worthy to see in each moment. Today another day lies ahead, take the opportunity and make it something special. This moment will never be repeated seek the knowledge and the fun, live a little bit more today.
